UMedia fully supports FLAC audio, both standalone (.flac files) and embedded in video containers (.mkv, .mp4), up to 384kHz / 32-bit float.

Multi-channel FLAC

While most FLAC files are stereo (2.0), anime Blu-ray rips often encode lossless 5.1 surround sound as FLAC to save space compared to uncompressed LPCM. UMedia properly maps 5.1 and 7.1 FLAC channels to your speaker layout.
